Wedding Season has Begun!

The 2012 Wedding Season is officially upon us.
Life Stage Films is so happy to get back in the swing of things for 2012! There is so much going on this coming year and we can’t wait to share it all with you. We are already incredibly lucky to have the best brides in the world and would love to share the first two with you right now!
We could not have started off the wedding season better than this past weekend! Courtney and Albert got married in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. The beach, sunset and location were stunning and couldn’t be more ideal for a wedding in February. The bridal party was able to enjoy it all since they spent most of the day on their very own yacht. The bride and her bridesmaids are all gymnasts, so naturally, they did numerous flips off the boat. The other less daring guests were able to enjoy a slide that went off the back of the yacht. You can bet that Matt had the best time filming it! The ceremony and photo session took place in front of a sun drenched sky that most cinematographers only dream of shooting. After the couple said “I Do” the reception followed and went late into the night. The local band, delicious food, masquerade masks that were passed around, and meaningful toasts made the night one to remember. We can’t wait to edit their film!

Charyl and Eric also got married this past weekend at the St. Thomas Preservation Hall in Wilmington, NC.  Although their wedding didn’t include jumping off boats, it had many marvelous details.  From the custom exquisite chandeliers to the stunning Gospel Choir, it was the perfect way for C&E to celebrate this new journey in their lives.  The bride was by far the best host we have ever seen. She was the social butterfly of the party and got around to speaking to everyone there. The bride and groom had such a generous and loving way about them that would make anyone smile.

One thing we are so excited about this year is the addition of the “Soapbox”, a photo booth with a video twist.  Jay Tatum, owner of Active DJ Entertainment, and Matt Davis, owner of Life Stage Films, decided to collaborate and design a fun entertaining booth that will provide the bride and groom with footage and photos of their guests being silly during the reception. Guests will be asked hilarious questions about the happy couple that are sure to spark equally hilarious answers. Before you enter, we even provide countless unique and goofy props to choose from so you can make it as creative as possible. We can’t wait for it to be used in our future weddings!
