Sea Island is a resort island located in the barrier islands just off the Atlantic coast of southern Georgia. Being that John, Hillary and their friends and family are from Texas, this was definitely a change of scenery!

We always enjoy working at Sea Island resort. Not really because of the southern “eye candy” all around with the beautiful landscape. But the families that choose to have their weddings there are unique. Always a new personality. Always an interesting family history. And always an appreciation for the art of wedding filmmaking.

Hillary has been excited to have us since the beginning, and I am sure even today she is still squirming in her seat waiting on this video of her day. But one of the biggest things I noticed about this couple, was the groom, John. Some grooms are present on their wedding day. Some grooms just want to smoke a cigar and party. That’s great. But I was thrilled to be able to capture little moments of this wedding day that truly illustrates the way John cares about his bride…because as you’ll notice in their film, he was fully present, and loving it! I loved that you could almost feel the same excitement John and Hillary felt that day, and they felt it together.

Interesting friends (check out this great female indie artist I met!), unique decor, fun band, and a spectacular “sparkler” exit for the ages.

Loved this wedding, and you will too. Thanks Hillary and John, for choosing us and putting immense pressure on us to capture your wedding weekend in a way that rivals even how you remembered it. Hope we pass. 🙂 Spread the love folks and let these two know what you think of their film!

Words from the bride:

“I just watched it and I LOVE it!!!  Y’all did an amazing job!!  John loves it too:)  Thank you for capturing all of our moments on our special day, it means so much to us!!”

Thank you,
Hillary Bintliff
