Bald Head Island, NC
Were you one of the people that cried at the end of the feature film “
Shooting in Orton’s Luola’s Chapel produces some of the best light and best “intimate” feeling for a wedding anywhere around. With the Cape Fear River, 100+ year old oak trees and Spanish moss, I’m sure Ann & Jeremy’s families were in awe of the Southern Charm here. It was so neat to see both sides of their families come down from Pennsylvania for a small, private wedding. The coolest part that we were the most jealous of? The family rented a beach house right on the ocean at Bald Head Island for an extended weekend and just had a party the entire time! Such a great idea. However, to get to Bald Head Island, you have to take a ferry! Very cool shots of the bridal party enjoying the ride over there and taking a moment, to breath in the sweet ocean air. After getting off the ferry, there are no cars! You have to take golf carts wherever you go. Fitting the final destination was their beach house “Gone to Carolina”, and this is where we showed Ann & Jeremy’s Same Day Edit. It felt like a family reunion, and we felt like family. It was a blast.
A few notes. I couldn’t be more proud of our main shooters Amy & Zach for filming this Same Day Edit in its entirety. It’s a true testament to the talent of our entire team to be able to pull something off like this. I am honored they represent Life Stage Films and show why they are the best around!
Thanks so much Ann & Jeremy for inviting us to your intimate southern celebration. We are thrilled you love your SDE. Now enjoy it again! :)
