What’s Up Our Sleeve? (Audio Teaser)

Matt, Kara, Zach, Amy, Ryan, Chris, Casey = The Life Stage Films team.

And WE have something monumental up our sleeves that will be revealed to you in a few short weeks. We hope it coencides with our brand spanking new website, but we can’t promise you that. :)

This video being created right now, will make you laugh, and may make you cry. But it’s not ready yet. So you’ll have to wait. In the meantime, check out some audio from the video and peruse through a few of the still shots we captured from the “mock wedding” we set up last weekend with over 80 “extras”. We couldn’t have done it with out the incredible help and sacrifice of some of Wilmington’s most talented wedding pros, which we will reveal the identity of when the video launches. A “Weezer” First Dance that ROCKS!

Let me tell you why these two are in my top 3 favorite Life Stage Films clients of all time. My favorite band is Weezer.

Joie and Cody told us they were doing a choreographed first dance. And I knew a little bit about them to know how “different” they were, in a good way. Nothing about their wedding was normal. On purpose. This dance blew me away. Not only because Weezer is my favorite band, but because of the way they interjected their personalities into a tradition that can sometimes seem…boring. This was not. They ROCKED, and their moves were spot on. Don’t you think they look like Buddy Holly and Mary Tyler Moore? :) Enjoy!

Sage Advice from an Old Man – Great Toast

Too funny not to share this old man’s sage advice to one of our couples during the reception. This is the most “risque” toast we have heard from someone at a wedding (over 80). :)
