Casey is our new Assistant Studio Manager and we could not be happier to have her on our team.

So far she has been a trooper during this first crazy month of wedding season and is helping us stay organized and get things done. In the office part time, she devotes herself to making sure your experience with us is smooth. She stays on top of all the tiny details: calling your vendors before the wedding, creating custom DVD cases, proofing your final film, cleaning gear and packing the bags for the weddings, and a LOT more. Say hello to her and get to know her below.

What is your biggest Pet Peeve? Whining

Who is your hero? Helen Keller

What would we find in your refrigerator right now? Not much- I’m moving in a week!!!

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what 3 things would you want to have with you?

a. Sunscreen (never ending supply)

b. My “Go Bag”/ Zombie survival kit (just in case)

c. a Labrador Retriver

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you? Emma Stone

If you could be a superhero what superpower would you have? The ability to control heat (and I could use the heat waves to fly)

If you only had 6 months to live, what would you do with the time? Travel the world (Spain and New Zealand specifically )

If you won #20 million in the lottery, what would you do with the money? 1st Pay off my Loans, Then Devide whats left: Save half and Travel the World

” You lived a couple of miles away from each other but you had to move to California to meet?!” – Jaclyn’s Grandmother

We here at Life Stage Films like an interesting love story. Jaclyn and Johnny actually BOTH grew up here in NC (Greensboro). But actually met by being set up on a date by a mutual friend nearly 3,000 miles away in Redondo Beach, CA where they both work. The rest is history, as you can tell from this heartfelt wedding film.

I had the privilege of filming with one of my fellow colleagues and friend Loyd Calomay, and both of us felt right at home with these two families. Such a fun day, NOT just because we filmed a wedding at the beach in a pretty unique suburb of LA, but because this wedding was REAL. Every emotion, every spoken word, every laugh, was REAL. We like filming REAL moments. These folks were celebrating. And Loyd and I both saw the evidence of why everyone was so thrilled these two, Jaclyn and Johnny, found each other.

Things I liked about this wedding as evident in the highlights film:

Their dog was in the wedding. LA beach culture. Hilarious surprise first dance. Johnny’s face when he sees Jaclyn walking toward him at the altar. Their personal written vows.

Thank you!! Thank you for inviting us all the way across the country to film this day for you. You trusted us, and we hope you enjoy the moments we captured. Let’s hang out next time you come back to NC or an APPSTATE Homecoming game. :)

This wedding day was perfection. Great family, great friends, lots of laughter, and a beautiful setting. Brian & Allison are such a sweet couple it is so easy to tell how well they compliment each other. I had a wonderful time making this highlights film and I think it does a great job of portraying their wedding day. I loved all the small personalized details and the super awesome band. Really a wedding day can’t get any better than this. All of us at LSF wish A+B all the best in their marriage and hope they enjoy all the memories from their wedding day.
