1.  The story of how they met. Shannon was David’s son, Talon’s first grade teacher. She was dating someone else but that didn’t stop him from pursuing Shannon and she secretly thought he was the ‘hot dad.’

2.  David actually proposed to Shannon in a banana suit in front of a huge group of first graders. Perfect for this spunky duo! This is why all the groomsmen wore high socks covered in bananas.

3. We love the goofy moments infused throughout their day. Like how David came prepared with lab goggles to protect his eyes while Shannon fed him cake.

4. When the officiant told them to ‘relax’ after making it through their vows, they jokingly did some stretches to loosen up.
