Marisa and Steve’s wedding is the kind of day one aspires to have. Not only was it in in three different languages but in such a architectural and historic location. They also had a poignant ceremony full to traditions, old and new.
Things we LOVED about this wedding (in no particular order):
1. The beautiful landscape and architecture of The Inn at Middleton Place
2. The ceremony was in THREE different Languages
3. Marisa’s Something Blue? Her Shoes!
4. Using The emails from the very start of their relationship as art.
The Proposal:
January 1, 2011 12:01am.
Captain’s deck of a 75ft Catamaran charter in the middle of the BVI/Carribean.
Steve tricked Marisa into thinking she was getting a commitment via ring pop and then pulled the real ring out and asked her to marry him.
Marisa accepted.
Steve joked not to lose the ring as it wasn’t yet insured.

Thank you so much for capturing our day so perfectly! We are so happy you were there with us! (Unfortunately, Steve was not joking…The ring was not insured…but I didn't lose it. Success!)
