Not sure I have seen a more beautiful place than this town, Ravello. I promise you, the colors, the mountain ranges, the “character” and most importantly the people in this film are not fake. Zach and I knew we would be filming Ericka & K.C’s wedding for about a year. Ericka follows Style Me Pretty, one of the best places for brides to find unique ideas for their stylish wedding. We are fortunate to be on SMP’s short list for event filmmakers that do destination weddings. Since Ericka and K.C. knew they were going to find a secluded, magical place for them to have an intimate wedding, instead of a huge party, they immediately connected with one of our Style Me Pretty featured films, “The Dream”. She said, we want our wedding film to feel just. like. this.

I would take Ericka & K.C.’s wedding day over any hectic wedding with hundreds of people. Watching this film, hopefully you can be transported when you see how carefree they are, driving around this Mediterranean  peninsula. Ericka couldn’t stop smiling. And when you hear K.C. reveal why he chose this place for his bride, you’ll see that his goal was for her to smile the entire time too. :)

A HUGE thanks to Ericka’s amazing wedding planning team Jaquie and Kim with “The Amalfi Experience” (and our liasons for the trip). They told us all the cool places to go. :)

The Hotel, the gardens, the food, and celebration, and the happiness shared between these two makes this one of our favorite weddings. And a huge thanks to Ericka for adding Super 8mm film to her Wedding Film. I think it changes the whole dynamic to this “dreamy” wedding. Makes it nostalgic. Can we go back soon???

Congrats guys, we appreciate you and feel honored we were part of a handful of people that witnessed the best day of your lives in person!

A message from the Bride and Groom after they watched it…

“The video is unbelievable! And the song…. Absolutely beautiful!! We both cried! We are in awe of what you have done. Words can’t express how much we love it !!!! We’ve watched it at least 10 times already!!
Can’t wait to see more!”

Eric and Lisa

Here’s what you’ll love about this wedding.

1. Lisa and Schneider’s children were the bridal party, and they each read a line from a sweet poem during the ceremony.

2. Speaking of ceremony, it was in a wine cellar. A cave, filled with candles. It was amazing.

3. The Largest house in America was one of their backdrops.

4. The design. Check out the lights and the draperies for their reception in the Loft of the Biltmore Stable.

5. The SURPRISE fireworks. They had all their friends and family walk to the top of the hill at the “Diana” stature, and timed their speech to be finished right when the amazingly beautiful fireworks went off. Even got a candid reaction from the mother. :)

Lisa and “Schneider”, we are HONORED that you looked up and down the East Coast for the perfect filmmakers for your wedding, and you trusted us. Your wedding was sweet, and…. honest. It was refreshing. Congrats to you and your now larger family!

The pros:

Venue: The Biltmore Estate

Photographer: Woodward and Rick

Florist: The Flower Gallery

Band: The Heather Hayes Experience

Helium + Speedos. Don’t Miss This Embarrassing Opportunity

I’ll admit, I may be a little crazy for proposing this….

As owner of this business I like to call “Life Stage Films”, I decided to do something drastic, very drastic, to get these fan numbers up a little bit. In regards to our Facebook Fan Page, I am tired of seeing our “tribe” sit at 1900 (ish) fans! So, I am proposing something that surely you will want to spread to your friends, family, co-workers, etc.

IF we can get our fan numbers past the 2,000 mark by Friday, I will suck HELIUM into my lungs and sing everyone’s favorite Christmas carole, “Carol of the Bells”, in amazing 4 part harmony, all. by. myself. We will film it and share the video with you, our fans of course.

IF, however, we exceed that goal and actually get past 3,000 fans, I will sing “Carol of the Bells AND I will jump into the Atlantic Ocean…wearing nothing but a speedo, and a cape, all recorded on video.(keep in mind it’s December) Why? Why would I do something so stupid, so ridiculous? I don’t know. I just love my company. And hate speedos. And it just might make for great video.

So, recap.

1. If we get past 2,000 fans on Facebook by Friday, Matt sings Carol of the Bells with Helium and we all laugh at the video.

2. If we create a fan base of over 3,000, Matt sings AND jumps into the frigid Atlantic Ocean wearing a cape and speedo. We all laugh at the video.
ONLY THE FANS ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE WILL BE EMAILED THE LINK WITH THE HILARIOUS VIDEOS. So become a fan! And spread the word. Before I change my mind…..
