Slideshow of Our Penelope

 

We appreciate all the congrats and well wishes we received from friends, family, clients and others in our business community. We know this little girl will be showered with prayers and surrounded by good people! Well, we are now safely home from the hospital with our little girl! Melissa is doing well and recovering nicely after 8 hours of labor (Penelope was born at 8:08 AM). I already knew it, but Melissa is one tough woman! Penelope was born 8 lbs 6 ounces heavy and Melissa gave birth to her naturally! I was proud of her, and felt so helpless all at the same time. Penelope was named after Melissa’s grandmother, who is very dear to us.

We are enjoying our time together as a family and especially wanted to share with you more insight into our new world and our new daughter with this Slideshow from Matt McGraw Photography. He took some absolutely beautiful pictures and much like us with a video camera, doesn’t like to force pictures or pose, he got the raw emotion of what we were feeling.
