Gone in a Flash

I have always had a love for acting. Whether it be in a church play, or musical theater in high school, its always been fun to be on stage. In Charlotte, there was a brief chapter of my life when I was involved in an improv comedy troupe named “Shahrazad“. We performed short and long form improv games in front of an audience every Wednesday night. If you have never seen an improv comedy show, it is much like the hit TV show “Who’s Line Is It Anyway?”. It was great, and I had a blast. But…we moved. The group is still kicking strong, growing and doing really well! Check em out if you are in Charlotte. All this being said, this post has actually nothing to do with us. Erin Fede, Shahrazad’s organizer and founding member (and friend of ours), along with Chris Crutchfield, another group member, put together an amazing short film (5 minutes) for a Fox Searchlight, HP and YouTube competition promoting the movie Juno. Directed by Jacob Lewis, this film is very entertaining and original. Please do yourself a favor and check it out. The film won 2nd place!¬† Video is below along with the synopsis.¬† Be looking for us here at Life stage to be teaming up with Erin Fede in the near future to do some short films.

“Nonna and Grandpa (Joe) are fed up with an inconsiderate neighbor who allows his dog to “fertilize” their yard… So, Nonna comes up with a retaliation strategy. However, she decides her granddaughter, Maria, should take some responsibility around the house and be the one to execute the plan”
